On the 25th of July 2020, MACFIS collaborated with Globalising Malaysian Talents (GMT) in hosting a financial literary webinar with guest speaker Mr. Andy Ng Yen Heng. Mr. Andy is currently the Senior Vice President and Head of Training and Development in Great Eastern Life Insurance and the Treasurer of the Malaysian Financial Planning Council.
Through the webinar, participants have gained valuable insight on the importance of being financially literate and the benefits of financial literacy in the life of a student from a person in the industry.
The Malaysian Accounting and Finance Society (MACFIS) is dedicated to fostering formal and informal ties between Malaysian professional and corporate bodies and Malaysian students currently enrolled in UK institutions of higher learning.
